Leather Jacket Manufacturing from Your Tech Pack

Bring us your tech pack to manufacture your own leather jacket in China. We work from your drawings, component list and finished measurements, using specified materials or materials you supply. See how those files guide pattern cutting, sewing and sample approval, and what to confirm before requesting a production quote.

A Technical Pack Ready for Manufacturing

Relia develops custom jackets in Qingdao for brands handing over a defined design. Relia connects each drawing detail with the relevant shell, lining, fastening and measurement, so your sourcing discussion concerns one identifiable garment rather than a loose collection of reference photos.

Materials Matched to Each Component

A useful leather BOM identifies the shell separately from lining, reinforcement and trims. On an oiled cowhide jacket, a pocket flap and collar may need more body than a sleeve. Putting all four under the single word leather leaves the sewing and shape decisions unresolved. We connect your material reference to each garment part so the approved sample expresses the design consistently.

Translate the Tech Pack into a Defined Sewing Route

The manufacturing sequence starts by reconciling the drawing with the component list. Relia reviews seam positions, allowances, facing shapes and fastening attachment together before the sample is cut. A pocket opening needs both an outside position and an inside construction; an asymmetric front needs an overlap and a zip length. Sewing order then follows access to those components, with the lining installed after the required inside attachments.

Construction sequence
01Pattern review

Connect panel edges, seam allowances, notches and finished measurements to the same design version.

02Cutting layout

Match visible leather panels for the specified surface and keep paired pieces identified.

03Assembly sequence

Attach pockets and internal components while accessible, then join shell, fastening and lining.

04Sample review

Compare the completed garment with the drawing and document the details accepted for production.

One Design Version for Every Decision

Keep your current drawings, material list and measurement chart together when you send revisions. A short change list makes a moved pocket or longer sleeve visible without forcing everyone to compare entire files.

Before the production discussion, bring the accepted sample details and written specification into agreement. Resolve any remaining difference as a specific item.

The Sample Makes Your Design Tangible

Use the sample to review the jacket as a garment: shape, movement, collar position and the relationship between pockets and panels. Photos and measurements work best together when you explain a change.

Our brown cowhide trucker reference shows a button front and shirt-style collar. You can use a catalogue reference to explain a detail while keeping your own design specification separate.

An Annotated Pocket Resolves Several Details

For a chest pocket on a trucker, the useful information is its finished width and height, distance from centre front, flap shape and fastening. One annotated detail can connect all four. The sample then provides a visible result to compare with the drawing, and an accepted revision gives the next order a stable reference.

An Annotated Pocket Resolves Several Details
01 Collar

Shape, stand, seam line and edge finish.

02 Front closure

Button or zip layout, position and finish.

03 Pockets

Opening direction, placement and internal construction.

04 Lining

Coverage, attachment and any specified internal pocket.

Garment Checks against a Shared Reference

  • For a tech-pack sample, Relia reviews finished chest, back and sleeve measurements at named points, then checks pocket position, front overlap, lining attachment and fastening operation.
  • Compare left and right details with the same measurement method.
  • The useful approval output is a marked design revision and a clear list of accepted measurements and construction details, so a comment about fit is tied to the part that needs changing.

A Quantity Plan for a Useful Quote

Break the enquiry down by style, colour and size, then add your target delivery window and packing requirements. That gives us a practical basis for discussing the order rather than quoting an undefined jacket.

Minimum quantities, sample charges, payment, timing and delivery arrangements are confirmed for your project by email. Raise freight, duties and inspection needs before the order is agreed.
