Jacket Specification & Inspection Checklist for B2B Orders
FACTORY PRODUCTION & GARMENT CHECKS
Check the garment against the agreed design
For custom production with our China jacket factory, turn the accepted design into clear garment-check points. Keep the drawing or sample reference, component sheet, measurements and artwork together. Use that package to compare the finished jacket's construction, fit and details with the agreed specification.
This buyer guide helps organise the discussion for your order. Begin with the accepted sample and approval record, then identify the checkpoints that matter to the selected construction and intended use.
Turn design details into practical checkpoints
For each fastener or hardware part, name the required opening, closing or attachment checks and the reference used to judge them. Check garment counts and the agreed size and packing distribution against the actual order specification.
| Area | Compare with the accepted reference |
|---|---|
| Components | Shell and sleeve allocation, lining, filling, trim, colour and finish |
| Construction | Seams, panel matching, pockets, front opening, collar, hood and attachments |
| Measurements | Named points, agreed method, unit and size-specific requirements |
| Artwork | Current design, dimensions, position, colour and application |
| Labels and packing | Approved text, placement, size identifiers and agreed packing plan |

Match the document to the requirement
Include the ordinary product features you have selected in the specification. Where your project also needs a named test method, performance level or market document, identify that requirement and the garment or component it covers. Keep the relevant record with the current design reference.
Check the document's issuer, date, subject and exact garment or component version. Request the complete relevant report and use an appropriate issuer or document-verification route when available to confirm authenticity and coverage.
For measurements, use the agreed landmarks and tolerance for each point. For colour and surface, use the accepted swatch or sample and the viewing arrangement set for the project. For artwork, keep the finished proof attached to the placement instructions.
A component map is particularly helpful when the shell, sleeves, lining and trims use different materials.
Agree the review plan before it is needed
Specify the review stage, access arrangements, responsible parties, sample selection and reporting format. Set the acceptance criteria and the route for resolving a finding within the order agreement. Keep photographs, measurements and comments traceable to the style, size and version reviewed.
Identify the material route and the purchased or customer-supplied components used for the selected version. Where a material batch or delivery reference matters to the order, include it in the check record alongside construction observations and garment counts.
Bring your inspection requirements alongside the product and quantity brief so they can be included in the project discussion.
